This is fun and retro! Reminds me of playing Turrican as a kid!

The sound mixing is a bit uneven, with sound effects much louder than the music.

The intro typing effect is quite rough on my eyes and made me feel a bit queasy. Perhaps because it went so fast and took up the whole screen? I enjoyed the backstory, though I think there should be more actions for the player to take other than clicking through a prompt, especially since it was quite long.

Gameplay feels nice, though I'm not a huge platformer player and if I do play them I use a controller, so I didn't get very far.

The jump feels very slow on the fall and given how fast the fireballs move, it becomes rather tricky to avoid them if you time the jump badly - perhaps that's intentional, to increase difficulty?

The blood UI is too big and takes up too much screen real estate - it overlaps the game arena and blocks vision of incoming monsters.

Great effort and nice theming! Very spooky :)

Yes, I can agree with that - most of the things you're talking about were really done at the last second, and poorly tested, so it seems like it's a bit broken. The level design became such, among other things, because until recently we did not know what kind of AI the opponents would have, and how we could remake the arena taking into account their abilities. Therefore, we decided to stop at such a compromise option. I will definitely pay attention to all your comments, and I will do something about it. Thanks for the feedback!

Actually is quite good mechanics you have there, I mean it feels right so I really enjoy the feeling it has, but maybe because is in the browser but is not that responsive on my end.

I wish I could have a downloadable version for this since i can  not play it that well on browser

Already done!

Thank you so much

I wanted to like this game and I really did. I liked the tradeoffs: drinking the blood vs filling the altar, going after the ranged attackers vs melee... I think this game has a lot of potential. The animation and exploding guts were great. Hard to win :)

The first customer! Ha-ha! Thank you very much for the feedback :D
